The Honors Program at Indiana University East welcomes its fellow Honors students from the Mid-East Honors region to Richmond, Indiana.
We have been active in MEHA for six years now and are excited to host the conference on our campus! We have an exciting weekend planned for you, too. We are taking advantage of our small campus to host all the presentations here and will provide lunch and snacks both days. Our students are planning an exciting pizza-party/trivia-mixer Friday night, and faculty/directors will enjoy a nice dinner on campus.
Abe Lincoln himself will welcome everyone at a Saturday morning Welcome and Keynote, and our afternoon “City as Text” will feature the rich Indiana history we have in our area: an Underground Railroad house, the Wright Brothers’ birthplace, etc.
Finally, we are holding our Saturday night banquet in a renovated turn-of-the-century Blues Club in Richmond with two student bands performing!
We hope to make this a MEHA you’ll always remember. And we’ve kept the price low ($99/person), so you will be able to bring ALL of your Honors students!
