The MEHA Student of the Year Award will be presented to an Honors student who has made an impact on their Honors program or college.
If there is an Honors student currently in your program or college you would like to nominate for this award, please complete the online form on this page. Nominations must be provided by an Honors director or dean. You must provide a statement describing why the student should receive this award in your nomination. In your statement, the executive committee would like you to elaborate on why this student should be chosen as the MEHA Student of the Year by providing specific examples. We will accept one nomination per institution for this award.
The MEHA Student of the Year Award will be judged and presented by Honors students. Since the award will be judged by student representatives of the MEHA executive committee, committee members are ineligible.
Please note: Nominations will only be accepted from institutions that have paid their membership dues.
The winner will be recognized during the annual conference and will receive a $250 award.
Nominations must be received by March 1 to be considered. Any questions should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
